Early Intervention
Program

SCI provides Early Intervention services to children from birth to three years of age who are experiencing delays in their development, or who are at risk for developmental delay. Our program is family centered, meaning that we regard each child and family as unique; parents and/or caregivers know their child best and the family’s involvement and participation is a key factor in the achievement of successful outcomes. Families are recognized as the primary social unit for promoting the development of children and we as professionals are most effective when families are feeling supported. We believe that every child has the right to achieve his or her potential; physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally. It is up to us as service providers to assist the family in maximizing those potentials. We will integrate all realms of development in a comprehensive program. While all children grow and change at their own rate, sometimes a delay in one or more areas can cause concern for parents and/or family members. Research shows that when addressed early on, a child’s pattern of development an interaction with their family and community has greater success.

ABA Program

SCI takes a compassionate and data-driven approach to intentional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), through home or school-based services. We evaluate and plan therapies that will target specific individual challenges. Every child is different and special, so our therapy plans are as well. Because we have so much experience working with special needs children, the expertise level of our therapists is very specialized and focused. We will match you with the therapist that best fits the needs of your child and your family.

“When she comes to the sessions she always has everything prepared. Even on zoom she has everything in arms distance. He’s able to speak full sentences now when he used to struggle with that before. We even worked on his full name during zoom. And he always says please and thank you”
